9/26/19 Well the Lord strong armed me into reflecting on this platform again, this time through the words of a child I met this evening. I have mentioned on here a few times already I am a kindergarten teacher in my 13th year. I have always been able to connect with children quickly and can entertain them easily. I hit a new record tonight. After rock climbing this evening, I met the most outgoing and adorable strawberry blonde boy with big green eyes named Sam. Our conversat
It has been few days since I last posted, I needed a bit of extra time. I was given a prophetic dream on Tuesday night and a portion of the dream was me visiting and sleeping over at a large house that is not mine and the house was under construction. I’d rather not discuss the rest of the dream. Whenever I dream of houses, I know big changes are about to occur in my life or the changes are currently occurring. Whenever God closes a door in my life it can be a struggle while
9/8/19 Oddly I have been enjoying the chilly overcast day, as it has allowed me to slow down and regroup after a very busy and draining first weeeeek of school. I’ll take I’m currently slowing down and treating myself to my two favorites at Colectivo. Spiced turmeric chai oak milk latte and curry chicken salad lettuce wrap. Decided to write and tackle schoolwork with treat treats. When I woke up, I was feeling extra grateful for my sweet, fuzzy kitten, Willow. She happened to
9/4/19 This is surely my latest entry this week, but I got back late from a hot date I took myself on to the golf range, grocery store, and dinner. Fridays have always been a highlight, my favorite day of the week. As of late, they’ve been a bit tumultuous, and somewhat lonesome. I did really enjoy the golf range after a long week. I worked on my swing and only took my driver. My success was keeping my eye on the ball. May have to swing by the range more often, pun intended.
This morning was probably the coolest ride I have done so far this school year. About 50 degrees when I left the house at 6 am. One benefit, I didn't sweat at all, not even my undergarments were damp. The ride was nice, I really enjoy riding early in the morning. The afternoon stresses me out, I have a very limited time gap between my teaching job ending and nanny job beginning. Today I didn't realize was a meeting day, I thought it was a different day so I ended up riding my
9/3/19 It was nice starting the week on a Tuesday, I think I would be okay if we just got rid of Mondays. Though Tuesday would quickly become the new Monday… First day of Kindergarten was as usual full of adventure. This group reminds me of when I started teaching k4, they all seem very new to school, but very eager to learn and please. I am looking forward to meeting the rest of my students over the next three days. Due to the weather conditions this morning and it being the
9/2/19 Happy Labor Day if you observe it. I am very thankful for my career today and not having to work. I started the day with a needed fasting jog of 4.8 miles. It was honestly a struggle. I decided to do a weighted run (wore a backpack). The run would have been a challenge regardless, but the backpack just ended up pissing me off. At about the last mile I just took the darn thing off and ran carrying it. I have been focusing more on cycling this past summer to build up fo
